IMO Car Wash turns blue

IMO has car washes in 13 different countries. IMO

IMO Car Wash is turning to blue as their brand color. “The World’s favorite car wash” operates in 13 countries throughout Europe. Gradually, the company will rebrand and renovate all their washes. In Germany alone, 280 locations will be overhauled by the end of next year.

“Love Your Car” is the new main slogan of the German-based multinational. The IMO logo also got a reshape. It now consists of three soap bubbles in a stylized heart shape. The blue color scheme is reminiscent of water and is meant to convey purity, freshness and cleanliness.
The fun of washing a car is supposed to resemble an event character, using IMO’s well-known “Triple-Foam” in blue-yellow-red as well as light effects and a logo projection onto the foam carpet on the windshield.

Technical innovations

In all refurbished plants, IMO’s own plant technology is used, much of which is produced in-house. “This allows us to offer the latest technology and set ourselves apart from the market,” says Carsten Karasch, Managing Director of IMO Deutschland Holding GmbH. “With our own supply chain, we are independent of supply bottlenecks on the world market.”

According to the company, innovative elements of IMO’s car wash include special car door-technology that also optimally cleans the lower half of the vehicle.

The triple-foam formula has also been improved and is now said to remove even more dirt. Together with the new, handmade, gentle-cleaning original IMO polymer brushes it should improve the shine of the car’s paint.
In drying, rotating nozzles with 155 km/h reach even hard-to-reach places, while the soft terry cloth drying strips would achieve the optimal polish at the end of the car wash. Another special feature is that at each renovated site, the very effective machine rim wash would be included.

Wide and spacious

IMO Car Wash has intensively studied the wishes of consumers. The results were implemented in the new rebranding concept. “With transparent side walls and a wide, spacious entrance, IMO Car Wash takes into account the desire for more width and overview,” explains Carsten Karasch. “The machine wash plays a big role emotionally for the car drivers.”
