IMO celebrates 12 blue car washes in Berlin

The festive re-opening of the Berlin Lankowitz car Wash IMO

Car wash operator IMO rebranded its Berlin car washes. All twelve of them got the new blue design which was announced by the German carwash operator last year. The makeover was turned into a big event.

All of IMO’s 280 German car washes will get an overhaul in the coming months. The 12 car washes in the capital did not only get a new design, but were also equipped with the latest technology. According to IMO, it will make a car wash as effortless as a short pit stop in Formula 1 racing.

Kai Ebel

To create the right Formula 1 atmosphere in the redesigned car wash, legendary German pit lane reporter Kai Ebel was invited. The well-known sports presenter has reported live on Formula 1 500 times in the most unusual outfits.

With Ebel being the honored primary guest, the IMO car wash in Berlin-Lankwitz was transformed into a pit lane. The reporter commented on the pit stop at IMO and held a few interviews with car wash customers.

IMO has been offering car wash services in car washes for 57 years. With their huge rebranding and overhaul of all facilities, the company wants to set new standards in car washing.
The restyled Berlin stores are a glimpse into the future for all IMO’s car washes in Germany. The national restyling will take about two years.
