Disaster struck in Rainforest Car Wash in Medina, USA last week, when a vehicle caught fire while inside their express tunnel. Fortunately no one got injured, thanks to the quick thinking and swift action of the Rainforest staff.

The car wash in Ohio will be closed for a period of time while the necessary repairs are made. For their Unlimited Members, the subscription charge will be paused during the temporary closure at Medina.

“We are grateful that everyone is safe and sound,” said Anthony Bencivenni, President of Rainforest Car Wash. “We would like to thank our dedicated staff for their quick response to the situation. We are currently working to assess the damage and begin the repairs as soon as possible.”

Medina Unlimited Members can still use the car wash services at any nearby locations in NE Ohio. Their Brunswick location is the closest to Medina.

Investigation

Based on preliminary investigations by the fire department, the fire last Saturday probably started due to a malfunction within the burned car. However, a conclusive determination of the vehicle fire’s cause is yet to be ascertained.

The team at Rainforest Car Wash is currently working hard to get the car wash up and running again as quickly as possible. Updates on the reopening date will be posted on their website and social media pages.
