Lamborghini stolen at car wash
Mayhem in the state of New York this week, when an expensive Lamborghini got stolen from a Long Island car wash. The heist ended when the car crashed in Queens. CBS reports about the case.
The amount of car heists is on the rise in the US. We recently wrote a report about it. But the theft in broad daylight in Long Island turned out to be especially brutal. While a Lamborghini sports car was waiting to be dried after a thorough cleaning at the Sonic Car Wash, three individuals sneaked in and took off at high speed.

They eventually crashed the $230,000 car into a few parked cars in Queens and ran off. The police then sealed off a large part of the neighborhood, called in a helicopter and eventually apprehended two of the tree suspects.
