BKF enters Belgium market
With the recent investment in a car wash near Liege, BKF enters the Belgium market. The Polish hardware company replaced the old technology with new machines, turning the slightly rundown car wash into a very modern one.
According to BKF, it all started with a local investor, who owned a touchless car wash in the town of Hannut which clearly had its best years behind it. Together with BKF’s local dealer a cooperation was set up to modernize the Self Wash Hannutois. BKF supplied all the necessary hardware.
In order to reduce the costs of the whole project, the investor kept a few components from the old car wash intact, such as the boiler, some high-pressure pumps and motors. Apart from that, the water softening and reverse osmosis system was also adopted.
“We have been building positive experiences for our business partners and their customers for over 30 years. We want them to enjoy their business”, says Piotr Andrzejewski, BKS business development director.
The modernized car wash in Hannut offers new, popular washing programmes such as active foam or washing with a brush.
Easy access
For the investor, the biggest technological surprise was the contrast between the old and the new control system. The operator now has easy and quick access to the remote control panel and car wash manager with a lot of interesting functionalities.
Apart from updating the washing technology, the washing bays also got an update. Furthermore , the control panels were replaced with new ones.
With the renovation of the Hannut car wash, BKF entered the Belgium market . Their ambition doesn’t stop in Wallonia. “Our car washes are already present in 25 markets in Europe and Asia. In the coming years, we are planning to increase our share in selected locations and further expansion.”
