Mesa Coatings renews floors at Carwash Club Pelt
The Belgian carwash chain Carwash Club opted for a new coating for the floors of its branch in Pelt earlier this year. They went for a grey MesaFast Heavy Duty system from Mesa Coatings. Here’s how it looks.
Carwash Club BVBA has two branches, one in Bree and one in Pelt, both in Belgium. In Pelt, the four wash bays were provided with a new floor and skirting by Mesa Coatings. In addition, the upstands in the wash bays were also fitted with the same system. The floor area covers 104 square meters and that of the skirting boards twelve meters. The upstands of six meters were also provided with the same system.
Cracks and seams
Before the coating could be applied, the wash bays were first fully prepared by having the floors blasted by Arts Straalbedrijf. A day later Mesa was able to seal the cracks and seams in the floor with MesaFast Thix and then the floor and skirting system could be applied.
According to Mesa Coatings, the MesaFast Heavy Duty flooring system is 100 percent fluid-tight, chemical-resistant, mechanically load-bearing and non-slip. This makes it a safe system that is also easy to clean. The system could be applied because the weather was dry at the time, but the low temperature in January was not a problem for this system. It can be applied at temperatures from -20 to +30 degrees Celsius.
