IMO partners with EV charging company

Be.EV partner with IMO Car Wash Group

IMO is partnering with charging network Be.EV. The first four IMO car washes to go live with chargers are situated in the United Kingdom.

The selected car wash sites in the UK will be equipped with rapid chargers, which can charge a typical EV to 80% in 1-2 hours. This is much faster than the 4-6 hours on an average 7kW fast charger. IMO Batley Car Wash is even powered by an additional ultra-rapid charger, which can charge a car in as little as 20 minutes.

1000 more

“This is just the first phase of our work together”, says Asif Ghafoor, CEO of Be.EV. “We look forward to bringing our chargers to many more IMO locations across the country,”. His company is working to install 1,000 further charge points across the North of England and beyond by 2024. Be.EV’s membership scheme has more than 20,000 members who get preferential rates and can access chargers alongside pay-as-you-go users.

“By joining forces with Be.EV, we are proud to be part of the largest public EV charging network in the North of England,” says Adam Green of IMO UK.

Driven Brands
