ERGOX has updated its software

Clean Park in Rijssen has an ERGOX vacuum hall.

ERGOX has introduced new software for their vacuum cleaning system. By being energy efficient, they are preparing for a sustainable future. “It’s become even more important now energy is becoming increasingly expensive and supplies are uncertain.”

Generation 3, the new software is called. It continuously measures the power in the central vacuum system. Carwash owners can see immediately when there is a problem somewhere in the system. “This contributes to effective energy management,” according to ERGOX.

In Generation 3, the pipes are fully monitored. The measured values are affected if “lig dirt” develops in the pipes. If the passage then decreases below the set threshold, a warning is displayed on the screen. Based on this notification, maintenance can be scheduled to inspect the pipe and correct it if necessary.

“This application makes the vacuum system operationally secure and efficient for staff. You no longer have to search for the problem, but are directed directly to the correct pipe. Thus, the defect can be quickly fixed before a serious problem can arise,” explains ERGOX.

POS indication per vacuum location

In addition to the pipes, the hoses are also continuously monitored and measured. If, for example, a cap from the floor mat gets stuck in the vacuum cleaner nozzle, the system immediately issues a notification.

In addition, activity monitoring is included for each vacuum hose. This shows immediately which vacuum sites are favored by the customer. “With this information, you can then create a Point of Sales (POS); a place where customers see the resources offered and are more likely to purchase.”

Data via app

Because the control panel within Generation 3 has been enhanced with a data communication module, it is possible to exchange data remotely and perform a check or update. According to the supplier, this allows for rapid remote intervention.

In the near future an app will become available, allowing business owners to receive data directly from the vacuum system and remotely control the manager.
