Autotechnica Brussels counts down to 20th edition

Benelux trade fair Autotechnica will open its doors in Brussels Expo on Sunday, March 27. The four-day event aims at automotive professionals, including car wash owners. It is the first edition since 2018. Due to the corona measures, Autotechnica did not take place in the last two years. But this year around 250 companies are showing their services and products in the European capital.

In recent years, Autotechnica often had to deal with setbacks. A few editions did not take place due to force majeure or had to be cancelled prematurely. For example, there were the terrorist attacks in Brussels and Saventem in 2016 that forced the fair to close after only one day.

In 2018, the biennial event returned, but by 2020 the Brussels Expo was quiet again, thanks to Covid-19. The 20th anniversary was initially moved to May 2021, but that too fell through.

Many car wash suppliers

From 27 to 30 March 2022, that damage should now be more than made up for. The omens this time are good. Halls 5, 6 and 7 are almost fully booked with around 235 suppliers of workshop equipment, car parts, tools, garage concepts and software.

The car wash industry is also well represented, with stands from Washtec, Mesa Coatings,TSG, Istobal, Holz, Pro Wash and Ehrle, among others. When it comes to providers of car care products, Meguiars and Auto Glym are among the exhibitors.

The fair will open Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. On the other days, doors open at 1 p.m. and close at 9 p.m.
Tickets can be reserved at autotechnica.be.
