Huge Dutch mobility trade fair in November

ProMedia and Jaarbeurs join forces, with fltr: Jelle Heidstra, Jeroen van Hooff and Arie van Dijk ProMedia

The Dutch city of Utrecht will host an enormous automotive trade fair in November, under the flag ‘Mobility Hub Experience’. The fair is organized by publisher ProMedia and Jaarbeurs and combines the Gas Station and Carwash Trade Fair with the Taxi Expo and Fleet Expo.

Both organizations recently signed a multi-year agreement. The trade fairs for the various sectors will take place on November 15 and 16 in Utrecht, the Netherlands. It will cover more than 15,000 square meters.

More overlap

ProMedia is the largest publisher of trade media in the Netherlands in the field of mobility. It operates the titles TankPro, TaxiPro, CarwashPro, OVPro, Automotive and Fleet & Mobility, among others. “We notice that the fields in which we operate increasingly touch and sometimes overlap,” says Jelle Heidstra, director Mobility & Automotive at ProMedia. “In the transition to clean, emission-free mobility, we see ‘Mobility Hubs’ emerging: locations where different modes of transport come together around clean energy supply. Around them, a growing range of facility services such as shops, workplaces, eateries and car maintenance is emerging.”

By organizing the various trade fairs simultaneously under the same roof, their overarching power in the mobility transition becomes even clearer. Heidstra: “The three events each retain their familiar, unique identity for exhibitors and visitors, with their own exhibition floor and conference program.
However, visitors can use their E-ticket to gain direct access to the other exhibitions to expand their knowledge and network. At the same time, specific events for the public transport and car leasing industries are also taking place. Jaarbeurs, with its excellent accessibility by car and public transport, is the ideal venue partner for this.”
Jeroen van Hooff, CEO Royal Jaarbeurs: “We are incredibly proud to host the three trade shows at Jaarbeurs and we look forward to making them successful editions together.”

Tankstation & Carwash Vakbeurs

The Tankstation & Carwash Vakbeurs (trade fair) has been the largest trade fair for gas stations, fuel, car wash and out-of-home food/non-food in the Netherlands and Belgium since 2014. Every year, more than 2,500 entrepreneurs, owners and managers visit both days of the fair.

Apart from the fair, there are knowledge sessions, workshops and other activities on and around the fair floor. Keep an eye on this website for the latest news around the fair.

Fleet Expo

Fleet Expo is the annual trade fair for everyone professionally involved in business mobility. Fleet owners and managers, mobility managers, buyers, HR professionals and leasing experts form the main target group. Besides an exhibition floor with all the trends and innovations, there is also an extensive conference program.
