Circle K reaches 100 locations in Sweden

Circle K has opened its 100th location in Sweden. Many of their service stations also offer car washing. About a third of the Swedish Circle K’s are now providing electrical charging. 

The amount of charging points at Circle K is rising fast in the Scandinavian country. Over the past year, 160 new charging points have been opened for public charging, bringing the total up to just over 465 charging points in its nationwide network. Another 112 installed charging points are waiting to be connected to the power grid.

“In parallel with the high pace of the rollout, we also put a lot of focus on everything else related to charging – such as making the charging experience really smooth,” said Jenni Alterling, Senior Manager E-mobility at Circle K.

She added that another seven stations are being built, which will host 42 more charging points.

Car wash subscriptions

Many Circle K locations offer car washing. Some have tunnels while others use roll overs, self-service wash boxes or a combination of the two. Circle K is also pushing its car wash subscriptions in Sweden. Prices begin at 299 SEK (€25) a month, up to 559 SEK (€48) for the premium package.

You don’t have to leave your car to get it washed.

With a dedicated app car owners can easily find the nearest Circle K car wash and open it without having to leave the car. A real bonus in a country where winter temperatures can sink as low as -30°C. (-22 Fahrenheit).

Apart from Sweden, Circle K also operates in Poland, Ireland, Norway, Denmark and the Baltic States. There are more than 18,000 people working for the Danish company.
