TotalEnergies car washes rebranded to Circle K

Circle K is part of the Canadian company Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.

Many carwashes in the Benelux and Germany that are currently operating under TotalEnergies will be rebranded to Circle K in the coming years. The Canadian owned company has recently completed the acquisition of TotalEnergies service stations in the Benelux and Germany.

The service stations will continue to operate under the TotalEnergies name after the acquisition. But the shop and carwash operations will be gradually rebranded over the next few years, we learn from Pål Heldaas, Director Europe Communications at Circle K. “The situation in all four countries is the same, we will rebrand a small set of shops & carwashes to Circle K, around three per country.” This will happen gradually over the next few months.

Carwash enthusiasts

According to Heldaas, a larger rebranding operation is not planned in detail yet. But the company promises it will be done in close cooperation with local management.
“We at Circle K are big carwash enthusiasts and promise to keep both new and existing carwash customers happy. Not only by rebranding, but by developing the offer and by making car washing easy – our mission as a company.”

Canadian-owned

In 2003, Circle K was acquired by Alimentation Couche-Tard and has developed into a global brand represented in over 20 countries.
