Meet Woody, the sustainable wash box made of wood

An artist impression of the Woody. Savona

Savona presents their circular wash box construction at the Dutch trade fair Tankstation Vakbeurs. It’s completely made from sustainable wood. The Dutch company will also bring their other wash box innovations to Utrecht.

The wooden wash box is aptly named “Woody. “It’s made of a sustainable type of wood”, a spokesman from Savona says. “We will be happy to tell trade fair visitors more about it in our booth.”
They will also bring a new energy-neutral washbox, which allows for a 70 percent reduction in energy consumption per wash, the company claims.

New pay kiosk

Other technologies Savona will bring along includes the Wasbox 10′ terminal with the Savona Apollo Platform. “There are now more than 300 wash boxes of this model in operation, all linked in our online platform. At the fair we are going to present new features in this state of the art technology.” Within this system, cooperation with other platforms and devices is possible. Including Quiosk vending machines, pizza vending machines, and Walnut and Piggy loyalty programs.

Also featured is an entirely new type of payment kiosk with voucher technology, which can be used for existing vacuum and wash plazas, among others.

Wash or charge?

Last but not least, Savona says it’s examining the possibilities for EV charging in wash boxes. “A wash bay is not occupied 24/7 for washing cars. Therefore, we have developed a program in the Commander operating terminal that allows customers to choose whether they want to wash or charge. During this loading process, the customer can simultaneously use various other ‘dry services’ that are also offered in a wash bay.”

Savona can be found on the show floor on November 15 and 16, at booth 3.03.305.
