Truck on fire in car wash: $85,000 damage
A pick-up truck that was on fire inside a Wisconsin based car wash caused about $85,000 worth of damage.
Last Thursday afternoon, the Kaukauna Fire Department was dispatched to the Best Wash car wash on Konkapot Trail, Fox11 News reports.
Upon arrival, firefighters saw flames and heavy smoke coming from a pick-up truck which was parked in the middle of three wash bays.
No injuries
According to the fire department no one was harmed in the incident. But the car wash sustained significant damage to the roof and doors of the affected wash bay. Damage for the building is estimated at $50,000.
Meanwhile, the pick-up truck is considered a total loss. This adds another $35,000 to the costs.
