From discounts and free washes for black cars to free money for everyone that shows up with a car. Here are some of the more remarkable Black Friday car wash offers around the world.

If you’re selling high-definition televisions, expensive bikes or GoreTex rain gear, Black Friday has plenty to offer for customers. But lately even cosmetic surgeons, fitness centers and car washes are hopping on the black bandwagon.

Some car washes offer free washing for black cars on Friday the 24th. Others give a discount on their deluxe or premium washes or offer a sharp price on soaps or waxes.

One of the most unusual Black Friday offerings in the US is at the Prestige Car Wash in Taunton, Massachusetts. Not only are they offering free exterior car washes all day, they’ll even pay you $1 in cash just for stopping by.

The owner of the car wash, Ronen Drory, told USA Today he was well aware he had to do something outside the box to get attention. He expects to wash 1,500 to 2,000 cars on Black Friday and is bringing on four extra employees to help.

As each car enters the free wash, he’ll personally hand the driver a crisp $1 bill. “This is the kind of thing people will remember 10 years from now,” he says.

In the Netherlands, many car washes are focusing on selling their ‘wash pass’. Many offer upgrades or other perks to customers who recharge their subscription pass on Friday. Others offer one month of car washing for free after subscribing.

The German carwash entrepreneur Waschstraße Günther Energie und Service in Lahr offers a 50% discount in their wash tunnel during Black Friday. Instead of paying €20.50 for their most luxurious wash, drivers now only pay €9.90.

Many car washes go beyond a one-day discount and offer a whole week of reduced prices for all sorts of products. In Latvia for example, you get 33% more virtual coins when you upgrade your debit on the international Ready2Wash app during next week. Car wash operatior Adria Latvia posted the offer on their Facebook.

In Switzerland, Auto-Hermann does not only offer cheap car washes but also offers a 1000 Swiss francs discount on buying any electric car from them. We’re not sure if a wash is included in that.
