New Christ truck wash Nova comes to the Netherlands
Christ Wash Systems’ new Truck Wash Nova will be on display in the Netherlands early next year. The Nova is part of the new Christ generation and can be fully customised.
Until recently, Christ had two types of truck wash units, the Magnum and the Taurus. Nova was introduced last summer, and will replace the older models.
“Nova means ‘new’ in Latin, and so it has been modified in many ways so it can last even longer,” says Christ’s Pierre Krieger. “We can fully customize the machine. Like the machine and brushes in a custom color, LED lighting, all around HD or only HD on the chassis, rim cleaners, dryers etc.”
Nova is equipped with a newly designed front panel which shows clear instruction animations for the driver to support the entry, the stop and the correct positioning of the vehicle.
In addition, correct positioning is possible via an ultrasonic sensor which, similar to a parking aid for cars, indicates to the driver the correct positioning in the car wash via color signals/color intensities.
Automatic recognition
The new machine also has automatic recognition of mirrorless camera systems of new trucks, for which special washing programmes were created. The arrival of the Nova responds to the demand for a new and improved truck wash machine, says Pierre Krieger of Christ.
In The Netherlands, the first truck wash from the Nova series will arrive early next year at Autoverhuur Bultman in Apeldoorn.
