For places where cash is king

CarBax BasicChange, sturdy entry-level money exchange

Succesfully introduced at Car Wash Show Europe: the CarBax Basic Change.

Whether you are running a self-service car wash, have an unmanned rollover or a service station with limited opening hours, the CarBax BasicChange might be the perfect solution for you.

In many countries in western and northern Europe, cash is on the backseat nowadays. But if you go further east or south, customers still expect to be able to pay with cash money.

As a car wash operator, you have to be prepared for that. Besides, it is simply good entrepreneurship if you offer to take cash. Otherwise you might lose that particular customer for good.

Luckily, Slovakian car wash manufacturer CarBax has the perfect solution for you: the brand-new CarBax BasicChange. An entry-level banknote changer in a compact design with great versatility. It is suited for in-wall installation, has two dispensing hoppers, a banknote reader with stacker and coin acceptor.

The CarBax BasicChange was successfully introduced late last year during the Car Wash Show Europe 2023 in Amsterdam. It is perfectly suited for self-service car washes, parking lots, self-service laundromats and any places where banknote-to-coins exchange is necessary.

The CarBax BasicChange is easy to build-in.

Basic-line

The CarBax BasicChange banknote changer is part Of the Basic product line where functionality, design and lower entry costs are perfectly combined.

The basic functionality is simple: exchanging banknotes into two types of coins (or tokens). Therefore it is equipped with two high-capacity hoppers.

The banknote reader is equipped with a stacker, the storage space for all accepted banknotes. This makes it very easy to withdraw banknotes from the machines. A maximum of 3 types of banknotes are accepted. The banknote reader can be configured for any currency.

The CarBax BasicChange has all the basic features without compromising on design.

Extra features

It’s not a problem at all if people in your particular country still use a lot of coins because it is possible to buy ‘add-ons’ for the CarBax BasicChange. For example a coin acceptor, which enables up to two types of coins to be exchanged into smaller denominations (e.g. 2 EUR to 1 EUR and 0,50 EUR).

Customers can also expand their CarBax BasicChange with a so-called capacity expander for coin dispensing hoppers, which will increase the capacity of each hopper by an additional 800 coins. This will give operators of successful unmanned self-service car washes a lot of freedom. They will not have to drive by every day to empty the machine.

Furthermore, operators have the possibility to check the capacity of the banknote changer from a distance, thanks to a reliable web connection. Even modification and configuration can happen remotely via either a laptop or a mobile phone.
