Elefante Azul won the award of 'best service of the year'. Grupo Moure

Spanish company Grupo Moure has surpassed the 100 million euro turnover mark for the first time ever. This is largely thanks to the fact they opened 71 Elefante Azul wash centers and Autonetoil service stations last year.

The surge in infrastructure investment has pushed the company’s total turnover to €103 million.With brands such as Elefante Azul, Autonetoil, Petronet, and Washnet Factory under its umbrella, Grupo Moure saw substantial growth last year. According to a blog post, this lays a robust foundation for its ambitious plans in the coming year.

Manel Montero, the general manager of Grupo Moure, emphasized the company’s adaptability and resilience in navigating the complex economic landscape of 2023.

Last week, Elefante Azul won the award for the best ‘franchise of the year’ in Spain and was also named ‘best service of the year’.

‘Watershed moment’

The Spanish company says 2023 was a watershed moment for Grupo Moure, Montero highlighted the acquisition of Petroest and its three service stations in Mallorca as a pivotal move. It has further solidified the conglomerate’s leading position in the low-cost petrol station sector.

Looking ahead to 2024, Grupo Moure is poised for unprecedented expansion, with ambitious plans to increase its turnover by a staggering 30%, reaching €130 million. “We are confident of carrying out between 5 and 6 new openings, with a special focus on the Balearic Islands, Madrid, Catalonia, and Galicia.”, says company president Marcos Moure. “Although we do not rule out continuing to invest in other regions as long as business opportunities arise and the optimum conditions for investment are met.”

In addition to its core operations in the energy and carwash sectors, Grupo Moure is embarking on ventures into new domains, such as boats and vessels.
