Dr.Stöcker goes eco-friendly at UNITI
German chemical producer Dr.Stöcker wants to show its eco-friendly face at UNITI next week. A new line of chemistry products with the stringent Scandinavian ‘Nordic Swan’ eco-label will be presented at the German trade fair.
At the Dr.Stöcker stand during UNITI, it will be all about environmental friendliness, process water optimization and the reduction of plastic waste. In addition to two products that have already been presented, a new product will be presented at the trade fair.
It’s called Ecopro. This range consists of five new products, which all have been certified with the strict environmental “Nordic Swan” ecolabel. Behind this seal of approval are the Nordic governments of Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland.
Plastic reduction
Dr.Stöcker will also bring their Aqualife series. The recently introduced “bag-in-box” packaging of Aqualife consists of a 20 liter foil bag with an outer packaging made of environmentally friendly cardboard. According to the manufacturer, this change will save significant amounts of plastic.
Logistics in the car wash industry will become more sustainable in the near future, as the storage and costly disposal of empty plastic jerry cans will become easier.
