An owner of a car wash in the United Kingdom feels he has ‘lost control’ of trespassing drug users on his premises. It affects his business, he tells a local newspaper.

For years now, Amir Javidani has run a Nottingham car wash business, located on the premises of the former Cricket Players pub in Radford Road, which was closed about a decade ago.

In an article, which can be read in the Nottingham Post, Javidani expresses his frustration at drug users exploiting the space behind the closed pub.

Needles

Needles and other drug-using materials can be seen strewn across the floor towards the rear of the property, images show.

“I can’t control it, when I chuck one out another two or three come in,” said Mr Javidani. “It’s an easy place to come and drink or inject drugs.

He told the newspaper that police officers have come to the premises to move people on in the past. But added further action was needed to solve the issue

The site is currently subject to plans which would see the pub torn down and replaced by 50 student flats.
