No other advertisement appeals to customers better than moving images. However, around a car wash it’s often hard to find a suitable location for a video wall. has a solution for this: mobile containers that act as oversized screens. There’s no way around them.

Often, it’s not easy to advertise directly around your car wash. It’s either very expensive or simply impossible, since car washes are mainly built near busy roads or traffic junctions, in or near commercial and industrial areas. How do you tell potential customers to come over for a wash?

Enter, a German-based company which uses converted overseas containers to display digital video adverts. The large side area of 11sqm serves as a large display screen. The whole container system is in itself an eyecatcher. It basically consists of two containers stacked on top of each other.
The lower container can be used for all sorts of things. It could for example house an espresso bar or a compact sales room. The possibilities of use are endless and are implemented custom build after consultation with at car washes

If you want to attract the attention of passers-by at a specific time, a video advertisement on the container is almost ideal. You can use it for a longer wash campaign or to promote a new wash program or even the reopening after a renovation phase.
The latter in particular is appealing. Since it is often not noticed by customers the car wash has opened again. More importantly, customers are very attracted to new washing technology, modern wash programs and better operation of the system. As a rule, the most suitable advertising reasons are those that are to be highlighted with appropriate advertising attention over a period of around six months.

Structural requirements

In many countries, an installation of a system is considered a ‘temporary structure’, which requires less rules and regulations than a fixed video wall.
The footprint of a standard container is actually the installation area. Keep in mind though, the load-bearing capacity of the subsoil must be sufficient. In total, a has a weight of about 7.5 tons, which is distributed over four points of about 2 tons each. Questions about the exact installation are often discussed during a preliminary inspection of the installation site.
