Several people were injured in an American car wash this week after a freak accident with a truck and a loose cord that got stuck.

Local police said the cord somehow managed to get tangled with one of the brushes inside a Quick Quack car wash in Sandy, Utah.

The stuck cord then began to swing around wildly, causing damage to multiple vehicles. At least one driver in one of the vehicles was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

All in all three vehicles were damaged, with two having broken back windows and one having a smashed sunroof. In that particular car four people were injured because of breaking glass.

Here’s what Quick Quack CEO Jason says about the accident: “Last night there was an incident at the Quick Quack Car Wash in Sandy, Utah. We are investigating the incident and are in the process of reaching out to each of the customers involved to ensure they are safe and doing okay.
