Change in supervisory board at WashTec
Ulrich Bellgardt will be the new chairman of the Supervisory Board of WashTec from next year on. For private reasons, the current chairman Günter Blaschke is stepping down.
“The time has come to place the office in new hands,” says Blaschke. “WashTec is strategically very well positioned after a fundamental restructuring in recent years with a clear focus on sustainable growth, profitability and digitalization.”
Günter Blaschke has played a key role in shaping WashTec’s image today. Since his election as a member of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Supervisory Board in June 2014, sales have increased from €303 million in 2014 to €482 million in 2022.
Engineering
Now it’s up to Ulrich Bellgardt to stay on route to a sustainable future. “I will lead the company with all the experience and creative power at my disposal and further develop the value of the company in the long term”, assures Ulrich Bellgardt. He holds a degree in engineering and was Managing Director of companies in Germany, Switzerland and the USA for over 12 years. He then ran a management consultancy specializing in strategy and performance management for the same period. Ulrich Bellgardt is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KROMI Logistik AG, Hamburg, Germany.
