Dirty Lamborghini gets its first car wash in 20 years

“Is there anything sexier than a soapy red Countach?”, Larry Kosilla of New York based detailing specialist AMMO asks himself? Perhaps we can think of a few things, but not right away.

When the guys from AMMO found the neglected and forgotten Lamborghini a few weeks earlier it was in a rodent riddled barn in the countryside of the USA. By that time, the sexiness of the legendary racing car from 1985 was long gone. For the outside was covered in years of dust while much of the inside was literally sprinkled with mice urine and feces. At that point, the race monster hadn’t seen a surfaced road in over 20 years..

The highly entertaining 23 minute long video shows in detail how AMMO then cleans the car inside and out, including the techniques and products they use. The result is nothing short of spectacular. Which is of course the idea when you run a detailing company and want to show your value.
But besides being a promotional video, this is first and foremost a lovely story about a forgotten classic car that’s brought back to life again.

We’ll be dreaming about red sports cars and mice poo for weeks.
