While celebrating the 30th anniversary of its logistics center in Obersontheim, German-based cleaning company Kärcher is also inaugurating its newly expanded and fully automatic high-bay warehouse.
The extension, completed on schedule after two years of construction, triples the storage capacity. It allows for the storage and shipment of 68,000 different parts and accessories worldwide each year.

The investment aims to improve efficiency and meet the increasing demand in e-commerce. The expansion includes energy-efficient features such as a new photovoltaic system to generate at least 20% of the site’s electricity requirements.
