The American car wash company True Blue recently announced multiple acquisitions across Arizona and Illinois, which brings the total wash count to 69 locations. True Blue Car Wash is now present in six states, according to a press release.

True Blue has been busy in the first couple of months of 2022. The company closed deals with Quick Quack (two locations in Tucson, Arizona), KC’s Car Wash and Busy Bee, both in Illinois.

“These acquisitions represent True Blue’s commitment to the existing communities that we currently serve. Our customers now have more convenient options to keep their cars clean,” said True Blue spokesman Colton Rodgers.

Reactions

Kurt Koziol, former owner of Busy Bee Car Wash, a long-time operator and well-respected veteran in the car wash space said about the takeover: “After 47 years I have decided to hang up the boots and put on the sandals. True Blue has been a pleasure to work with. They are a company of integrity and honesty. A wonderful group of people. Wish them the best.”

John Karnezis of KC’s Car Wash had similar words to say about the recent acquisition of his wash: “It did not take long to realize that True Blue will continue to provide a fantastic experience to the customer base. I am confident that my customers and my team are both in great hands.”
In the next couple of weeks True Blue will be announcing further acquisitions, they stated.
