Car Wash Show Europe

Will Brushcom’s Rotor win the Innovation of the year-award at CWSE?

The Rotor is developped for the American market

Dutch brush engineers Brushcom will be present at the Car wash Show Europe next month. Of course they will bring their famous Rotor-brush, which is a contender for the Innovation of the year-award. But there’s more, we learn from sales engineer Lance van Hees.

Earlier this year you could read about the huge overseas success of the Rotor and Hover-brushes. But Van Hees finds it hard to answer the question if it’s among the most important products they bring to Amsterdam.

“If we had to choose it would be the new CCT foam and our new dry brushing solution the Rotor. Which is -by the way- also a candidate for the competition of innovation of the year.

In addition, we have invested in expanding the team this year to improve our service product. These new team members will join the old familiar faces at the show.”

What will be a focus product/service and what makes the product so special?

“This answer can be divided into two parts. For the European market, the focus is mainly on scaling up production capacity and the service we offer. This allows us to serve current markets even better while also looking at emerging European markets such as Southern Europe and the Baltics.

In the Americas, the focus is on gaining market share through our Rotor dry brush, proprietary developed CCT foam and the Hover foam segment. The latter is our first patented product and specially developed for the American market. By using a special processing technique, we have up to 400% more touch per wash compared to traditional wash solutions.”

The Hover is designed to create improved friction on the car.

How big is the team you are bringing?

“There are six of us in Amsterdam during CWSE this year.”

What are you expecting from The Car Wash Show Europe?

“We hope to speak to existing customers and suppliers and meet new (potential) customers. We have some new products we want to show to the market and are very curious about the reactions. In addition, it is always nice to see new innovations. The market is developing very fast and we are happy to be part of it.”

There are many workshops and demonstrations at CWSE. What themes or topics are you particularly interested in during the fair?

“Of course we go to the networking dinner and participate in the awards shows for Innovation of the Year in the Technology category. Other interesting workshops include the “Car Wash Associations Market Updates.”

Are there any other trade shows on Brushcom’s agenda this year ?

“Yes, we are going to The Car Wash Show in Nashville next year. At the same time we will also be present at UNITI in Stuttgart.”
