Driven Brands Car Wash gets big in Texas
The American company Driven Brands Car Wash has recently acquired 10 more locations in Texas, bringing the total number of their stores in the southern state to 52.
Not long ago Driven Brands added four Scrubbies Wash USA locations, four Boogie’s Express Car Wash spots, one Sparkles Express and one Bullet Express to their portfolio.
Driven Brands names itself ‘the world’s largest local car wash’ and they certainly live up to that name. “The great state of Texas continues to be a major focus for our team”, said Driven Brands president John Teddy in a press release. “We are proud to now have 52 carwash locations in Texas and we continue to look for more opportunities like these.”
Driven Brands acquired International Car Wash Group (ICWG) in August 2020. Now operating as Driven Brands Car Wash, the company is in full gear, thanks to a combination of acquisitions, greenfield expansion, innovation and consumer engagement.
Founded in Germany in 1965 under the IMO brand, the name still used at its non-US locations, Driven Brands Car Wash operates over 900 locations in 14 countries across US, Europe and Australia, with over 200 US venues.
