Mister Car Wash buys Rapid Express

All three Rapid Express Carwash locations have fallen into the hands of Mister Car Wash. The Californian company operates car washes in Atwater, Merced and Visalia.

The deal was closed in the last week of last year and marked the fourth and final acquisition by Mister Car Wash in 2022. The Tucson based brand is the largest car wash operator in North America, operating over 425 locations nationwide.

“The addition of the three Rapid Express locations complement our existing store network and extend brand presence to Visalia, a new market for us,” said Luke Hartke, vice president of M&A for Mister Car Wash. “We are excited to share the Mister Experience with existing and new customers in these communities, and we are proud to welcome the Rapid Express team to Mister Car Wash.”

Customers of Rapid Express Carwash can expect the business to continue operating as normal in the near future.
Throughout the coming months, The three stores will be rebranded as Mister Car Wash.
