Zoom opens in Berlin
You might be forgiven for mistaking a small town in Maryland with the capital of Germany. We at Carwashpro.com were a bit confused as well, at first. But yes, the US has its own Berlin. Where Zoom just opened a new express car wash.
Zoom Car Wash is owned by Charles Holland and Bruce Rogers. Their tunnel has a capacity for 160 cars an hour. “There is no other car wash of this magnitude anywhere,” a proud Holland tells local news agency The Dispatch.
Located in front of Home Depot in Berlin, Zoom Car Wash features a 150 feet (46 meter) single belt express tunnel, six wash bays and 38 vacuum stations.

No wait
Zoom utilizes license plate readers to identify members. “There’s no wait”, Holland says to the Dispatch. “You pull up, go through the kiosk, the license plate reader reads your license, and you go through.”
Members can wash their cars every day, if they like. Self-serve washes start at $4, express car washes start at $10 and Zoom tunnel washes start at $20. Memberships range from $39 per month to $59 per month.
Zoom also offers multi-car packages and deals for fleet owners. They have locations in Salisbury and Milford as well and hope to serve between 6,000 and 8,000 members at this new facility.
