For many, taking a vehicle through a car wash is part of our weekly routine. But not for a 78-year-old man from Newfoundland. His daughter decided to take her dirty vehicle to the local car wash after some snowfall, while her father was sitting next to her.

She then found out that her old man, who had lived in the same town for his entire life, never experienced the wonders of getting a car mechanically washed and dried in just a few minutes.

The woman decided to film his reaction while the car was taken through the whole washing process. We are so glad she turned on the camera, because one can only smile about his childlike discovery of the groundbreaking technology. Though some may have a hard time deciphering his local dialect.

The short vertical video clip is far from perfect, but it makes you realize how special the invention of the car wash has been. And most importantly: it will probably make your day.
