Service station company Orlen has just updated its app. Apart from easier payment services it now also has fully integrated their car wash services into the application. Finding one and paying for it has become easier. 

With the integration of the Sparkassen Girocard, German users of Orlen’s Tankstar app now have another payment function at their disposal. It has become possible to pay with the Girocard in conjunction with Apple Wallet. This complements the existing payment functions.

According to Orlen Germany, the updated app version is also more user-friendly thanks to a customizable dashboard. Last but not least, it has become easier to find a car wash near you and book a wash.

Furthermore, the app still offers fast, convenient and secure payment directly at the pump. German users can now also link their Girocard card.

“After just a few weeks, we are already seeing a high proportion of transactions via the Sparkasse girocard in the tankstar app. This shows once again how important a balanced payment mix is for the customer and ultimately for acquiring new customers,” says Benedikt Brandi, Director E-Mobility & Business Development at ORLEN Germany.
