WashTec has just introduced a new wheel washer for SoftLine² car washes. According to the German company it eliminates the need for a pre-wash, which should speed up the wash cycle. 

WashTec promises outstanding wheel cleaning quality through the use of ‘advanced and robust technology’. The combination of powerful performance components and safety features enables efficient and safe operation, with the aim of significantly reducing the need for manual pre-washing. The new wheel washer can also be easily integrated into existing SoftLine² washing systems.

Pulsing

The stainless steel design and friction wheel technology offer a high operational reliability – even under demanding conditions, WashTec claims.

New functions such as an extended travel distance of 1,200 mm, frequent rotation changes and a pulsing function set ‘new standards in wheel cleaning’.

The traverse and rotation movements can be individually adjusted via frequency converters, enabling low-wear, washing process-optimized operation. The multi-stage, sensor-based and completely contactless safety concept maximizes operational safety. Programmable LED process lighting and an integrated high-pressure application are available as additional options.
