Pink Bird Car Wash sees investment of $100M

Pink Bird Car Wash, Florida

A new US car wash brand is about to touch down on South Florida’s soil. After an investment by real estate firm Vybe, Pink Bird Car Wash hope to open no less than 15 locations in the sunshine state.

The first Pink Bird car wash location is set to open in September in West Palm Beach, USA. The company last year paid $1.5 million for that 1.1-acre site, according to an article in Commercial Observer.

A second Pink Bird car wash is under construction near the Palm Beach Outlets in West Palm Beach.
Pink Bird isn’t the only car wash company with expansion plans in South Florida. Mint Eco Car Wash and Miami-based El Car Wash also expressed their wishes to build outposts in Palm Beach County.

“There’s a lot of money in the space right now,” Brent Andrew of Vybe Investments said to Commercial Observer. The investor gets its money from Montgomery Street Partners, a Dallas company.

Unlimited

Like many other car wash brands, Pink Bird is planning to offer unlimited washes ranging from $19.95 to $39.95 a month. A single washe will go between $9.95 and $19.95.

The new car wash company is focusing on Palm Beach County for now. In the future they would like to expand in Broward County and as far north as Brevard.

One obvious hurdle is finding 1-acre sites in prime locations. Another is coping with shortages of construction workers and materials.
