Tommy’s hits top spot on Franchise Times list
Franchise Times just ranked Tommy’s Express Car Wash as the the number one US-carwash franchise.
Franchise Times, ‘The news and information source for franchising’, publishes their influential list every year. It ranks the 500 largest US-based franchise systems by looking at their global sales.
Of all the car wash franchises, the Michigan-based Tommy’s Express Car Wash hit the first spot. They currently run over a hundred car washes in the US.
If you take all businesses into account, Tommy’s is currently holding the 236th spot of the 500 companies. In last year’s list they ended up on spot 339. Since then, the car wash company opened many new locations.
Honor
The Franchise Times Top 500 is an exclusive annual ranking of the 500 largest U.S.- based franchise systems by global systemwide sales, based on the previous year’s performance.
According to Alex Lemmen of Tommy’s “it’s an honor to be a part of the Franchise Times Top 500 list and to be ranked #1 in the carwash services category.”
Leading the overal top 500 are brands like McDonalds, 7-Eleven and KFC. The first automotive company is Circle K, which holds the10th place with more than 11.000 franchises worldwide.
