How to wash your car….in Grand Turismo 7

Gran Turismo 7 car wash

Just like in the real world, cars in the famous video game Gran Turismo 7 will need to be washed regularly. Otherwise the player can’t hop over to the next menu.

Whoever played the successful PlayStation racing game, knows how big the level of realism is in Gran Turismo. When you’re driving around on racetracks at speeds of more than 200 kilometers an hour, while throwing bombs left and right, your beautiful black car might get dirty really quickly.
It so happens the video game now forces the driver at some point to wash his muddy car, or else he or she can’t go to the next menu of the game. Players won’t actually be able to wash their cars right away. First they have to get dirty on the road.

Get an Abarth

In order to wash their cars, players will need to complete Menu Book No.7. This means adding a few classic cars to their collection, like a MINI Cooper and an Abarth.
These cars can be won as gift cars by securing a podium finish at their respective European races. Then the player needs to head over to the “Maintenance & Servicing” option. 50 Credits and a short animation later, they have their car returned sparkling and as good as new.
There’s also something like a “Squeaky Clean” trophy which is tied to having one’s car washed, with the bronze trophy popping once players have had their cars cleaned ten times.
Sadly there is no rim- or vacuum cleaning involved in the program. Yet.
