Alliance Automotive Group: ‘We are ready for the next step’

Director Network Rob Visser (l.) and sales manager Richard van Schie Alliance

Alliance Automotive Group Benelux acquired Allcos Kenotek BV last Spring, thus entering the car wash market. After an initial phase of building a successful plan of action, the company is now ready for the next step.

Alliance Automotive Group Benelux is active in the distribution and sales of after-market parts, accessories, tools, tires, marketing concepts, equipment for garages and bodyshops and paint and non-paint products. They do so under the name PartsPoint with a total of some 100 branches in the Netherlands and 25 in Belgium.

“We supply parts to all companies that are automotive related,” says Richard van Schie, sales manager at Alliance Automotive Group Benelux. From a one-stop-shop proposition, more and more parts are being added to PartsPoint’s offering. Like recently products all to do with Carcleaning & Liquids, resulting from the acquisition earlier this year of chemical company Allcos Kenotek. At that time, the car wash world was still new territory for Alliance Automotive Group Benelux. “But now we are ready to actively enter the market.”

Integrated

Allcos Kenotek is now fully integrated into the network. “The products are in stock at all PartsPoint branches throughout the Netherlands and Belgium and can now be delivered to all our customers. This can be done up to six times a day, because our 450 PartsPoint delivery vehicles can also very easily take the car cleaning products with them.
Not only has this the advantage the customer will receive his order faster. It it also means that with us, the customer does not have to order large quantities at once, with a huge stock as a result.”

Orders can be placed through the account manager, by phone or email, but also through the updated Parts360 online system. For this, every customer now has a login. “The customer sees at a glance the product, price, available stock and delivery time. With one push of a button, the products are ordered and delivered at the time shown in Parts360. So it can be done very quickly and does not have to be done in large quantities at once. This sets us apart from the other parties.”

Additional sales

Van Schie sees that customers are also looking ahead. “In fact, in addition to car cleaning products, we have other parts linked to the car wash and detailing market and additional sales come from that.
“Within our customer base there are also many garage and dealerships with their own rollover or washbox. There, too, a nice combination can be made with supplying chemistry. So the first successes are already in and we will continue with this step by step,” according to Van Schie.
He goes own saying Alliance Automotive Group Benelux will rely on its own strength. “Our strength is also in the distribution: PartsPoint is located throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. And we all work with people who have a huge understanding of the automotive sector.”

2024

For 2024, the company has mapped out what its goals are, how they will be taken up and with whom. “We are currently working hard on that and we certainly expect the industry to hear more from us.”
